UT/TSU Extension Overton agents and program assistant led Century Farm Breakfast at the Overton County Fair!
The Overton County Fair, UT/TSU Extension Overton, Jerry’s IGA, and Livingston Dairy Queen sponsored this breakfast.
Over 50 members of 12 Century Farms in Overton County attended this outstanding event. As Alyssa Anderson stated, “A Century Farm is about much more than the number of years. It represents family, hard work, sacrifice, stewardship, and a commitment to preserving something valuable for those who come next.”
“The values of these farms are found in the families who have worked them, the lessons passed down from one generation to the next, and the memories made there…the land becomes part of the family identity. It holds stories of generations who came before and creates a place for generations yet to come.”
