The 2026-2027 4-H Communications Ambassador applications are now open.
This leadership opportunity gives youth hands-on experience in storytelling, content creation, and event promotion across the state. Communications Ambassadors will help capture the impact of Tennessee 4-H by creating photo, video, written, and social media content at state events and activities. Members will also strengthen leadership, public speaking, marketing, and professional communication skills.
Members in grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply. This year, 10 to 12 ambassadors will be selected.
Selected ambassadors are expected to:
- This is a 1-year commitment
- Attend one state event during the year as an Ambassador (Congress, Roundup, Electric Camp, as examples)
- Attend the initial training day
- Represent Tennessee 4-H professionally
- Make one social media post a month
- Actively participate
- Able to do work on your own and adhere to deadlines
Applications for the 2026-2027 4-H Communications Ambassador Program are due Monday, May 18, 2026.
