Explore the world of animal care with this hands-on day class that covers the basics of vet science, basic techniques, to physical exams and animal husbandry. You’ll learn the differences between caring for livestock and pets, and get a close-up look at what it takes to work in animal health. This class will help you understand veterinary science and other related careers.
Who can attend? 6th-12th graders as of January 1, 2027.

There are only 12 spots available, first come, first served. Must be in 6th grade and up as of January 1, 2027.
This program is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-creditable. Some meeting times may have to be moved due to weather or personal emergencies. It is our policy to communicate these as soon as possible and try to find a makeup day that works for everyone.

We accept cash, check, and card. Payment is due two weeks prior. Payment is prefered in person but can be done online.
