The 2026-2027 Healthy Living Ambassador (HLA) applications are now available. This leadership opportunity empowers youth to serve as community health and wellness advocates. Healthy Living Ambassadors will gain leadership, public speaking, and citizenship skills. Students in 9th-12th grade are encouraged to apply. Students graduating 8th grade can apply.
Each county can have up to 6 Healthy Living Ambassadors. All students are required to attend a yearly orientation. There will be regional orientations the last week of July. An information flyer and social media post has been attached with this email. Applications for the Healthy Living Ambassador Program are due Monday, May 18th, 2026.
