On Monday, October 20th, members of the 4-H Honor Club spent the afternoon giving back and enjoying the great outdoors at Cedar Lake Camp. The group volunteered their time to help clear a hiking trail, working together to remove branches, leaves, and debris to make the path safer and more enjoyable for future campers and visitors. After their hard work, the members gathered around the campfire for a well-deserved evening of fun and fellowship. They roasted s’mores, played games, and shared spooky stories, creating a perfect mix of community service and campfire memories.

Looking ahead to November 3rd, the 4-H Honor Club has an exciting event planned: an acting improv night. Members will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and quick thinking through fun acting games and performances. Additionally, the club will be collecting donations for the Upper Cumberland Foster Closet, which supports local foster families with much-needed supplies:

  • New underwear and socks
  • Diapers
  • Hygiene items
  • Small and large baby items
  • Car Seats
  • High Chairs
  • Baby Swings
  • Baby Wipes
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Christmas Stocking Stuffer Items

Any 6th-12th graders are welcome to join us and bring donated items to the next meeting for another night of fun, service, and 4-H spirit.
