We are seeking participants for our 2^nd virtual baked goods auction fundraiser event!

How does it work?

Send us a high-quality photo of a baked item made by a 4-H family or donor (can be a picture of the real thing or a stock photo from the internet) and a description, we will post it to the social media page and there will be a set time to bid during the week of November 21st.

Like our other fundraisers, you can use 70% of the funds towards your 4-H experiences. 30% will be used to support the overall 4-H program. 

Some basic guidelines to participating:

• Baked goods must be made within 24 hours of dropping them off at our office.
• All baked goods must be dropped off between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM on November 26.
• Goods should be labeled:
  • The baker’s name
  • If the funds generated are to be used on a specific 4-H member or family, it should be labeled.
  • The name of the item
  • If it needs to be refrigerated
• Containers will not be returned.
• Containers should make it easy enough for someone to be able to transport it.
• Participants should practice good standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and food safety to maintain the integrity of our fundraiser.
• Baked goods should be made by 4-H member or donors.
• Suggested items include:
  • Cakes, Bundt cakes, and pies are usually the BIGGEST money maker
  • Breads/Buns
  • Cupcakes
  • Bars
  • Dipped Pretzels
  • Cookies are easy but tend to bring in less money
  • Unique items typically do very well!

To participate, you will need to respond to the survey with the below information:

• Your name
• The name of the item(s) and/or a description(s) of what it is/are
• The value of the item ($)
• If a 4-H member or family, one thing you love about 4-H and/or what you want to use the funds for
• The size or number of servings the item is
• A photo of what it will be
  • Remember, the picture should be what you have made in the past or what it will look like.
  • If using a photo online, remember to deliver on your promises! It is better to under promise and over deliver!
