Overton County 4-H hosted its monthly Honor Club meeting on January 6, 2026, at the Extension Office, bringing together outstanding youth leaders for an evening on leadership opportunities.

Members had the opportunity to hear from guest speakers Zac Lewis and Gabe Harville, who shared insights into the responsibilities of Tennessee 4-H State Council, explored the rich history of Tennessee 4-H, and reflected on the lasting impact the program has had on their lives beyond high school. Their messages highlighted the value of service, leadership, and personal growth fostered through 4-H involvement.

The meeting also included the election of new Honor Club officers. Members proudly voted Mary Rhoades into the role of President, Sophie Thompson into Vice President, and Nolen Pennington as the club secretary.
